Amber Blues has been together for five years. It has always been our goal to explore all genres of music and fuse them into our own original sound. The five of us come from very diverse musical and ethnic backgrounds, which heavily contributes to our creative process Because of our musical diversity, we are able to cater to any venue, environment or audience taste. Amber Blues’ music is constantly evolving, innovative and completely original. Our sound cannot be lumped into one category but instead spans many genres, including rock, blues, folk, funk, jazz, jam and beyond.
Over the years we have showcased in cities throughout the Northeast, such as Philadelphia, New York and New Hampshire. We have performed sold out events at venues such as the Starland Ballroom, opening for The Outlaws and The Stone Pony where we’ve opened for bands including The Zen Tricksters, Big Brother and the Holding Company, and Moe, as well as many other national acts. We have cultivated a steady following which has allowed us to headline at a number of other venues throughout central New Jersey.
Amber Blues is not only limited to musical performance but also active in many other areas pertaining to our community and local businesses. We pride ourselves in the work we have done with charity organizations and in aiding other up and coming artists that we have met along the way.
Our debut album, entitled, “A Year and Some Days”, was completed in October 2007. We are expected to return to the studio to begin our second album in mid 2008.
